'Silent Hills' official release date is not yet confirmed though game developer announced that the remake of the horror game is already under development. Fans highly anticipated the game's promise of a more intense and a scarier gaming experience. However, reports mentioned that it would be this year.
According to Hideo Kojima of WhatifGaming, he said that the sequel will be unique from the previous installments since the players, this time, are allowed to choose whether they would like to play in first or third person.
"Development is cycling between either allowing players to choose to play the whole game in first person or third person, or keeping it fixed third person and having some areas be first person only. Either way, we want to do something with first person. The game will not be out more than likely 2016, lots of time left," he said.
Thus, speculations of having the sequel to expect this year for its release is high. Apart from the given options for the players, they can also experience an open world game where it would be much like Grand Theft Auto in such a way that gamers can observe "protagonist can choose between certain 'scenarios' or 'episodes' that s/he will play."
Kojima shared to his interview with WhatifGaming, "All I can say is Fox Engine is meant for open world. I cannot discuss more on the game design itself in detail yet."
The site suggested to the avid gamers, "Kojima asserted there is a lot of time until release for the game, but at least the options are being considered. I guess most people will just have to trust him on this one."
Silent Hills also known an "P.T." is a remake of a horror game that was franchised by Kojima Productions on Fox Engine technology. The gameplay is said to run for 20 hours of horrifying gaming experience. It is said to release this year in PC, however, there are no confirmations yet from Kojima Productions.
'Silent Hills' might be released this year in PS4 and PC platforms. Yet, game developers remained silent about its official release. Thus, fans have to wait for further announcements.
