From the moment Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was announced, controversies have followed it - and it probably would until it does see the light of day upon its release.While the real reason for game developer Kojima Productions - and, more specifically, game designer Hideo Kojima - and publisher Konami parting ways remains ambiguous, what is clear is that everything would be different once the inevitable separation does happen on December.

Although Konami might be facing a few concerns due to its strained relationship with Kojima, "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" would still be set for release on Sept. Add to that, a new "MGS" clothing line was teased by the game publisher.

Silent Hills was viewed as one of the most awaited titles in the gaming world this year and supposed to be the newest entry to Konami's Silent Hill series. The game was set to be a big hit with film director Guillermo del Toro collaborating with Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima, and also featuring the image and voice of The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus as the main protagonist.

A "Silent Hill" fan from Germany wrote a petition addressed to Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro to reconsider the "Silent Hills" project. The petition already reached 1000 signatures in three days.

“Silent Hills” PS4 is more or less cancelled. Konami has already pulled the teaser for the video game last weekend. Norman Reedus on the other hand confirmed that he will not be working on a “Silent Hills” video game any time soon.

Famed director Guillermo Del Toro may have dropped out of "Silent Hills" project if his comments are any indication.

After revealing a playable teaser of the horror game Silent Hills in Gamescom 2014, it has generated a lot of attention and anticipation. However, Kojima Productions got into a dispute with game publisher Konami that places the future of the game on uncertainty. As of the moment, the game has been put into hold while Konami has yet to release further information about the Silent Hills cancellation.

Since the release of its astounding playable teaser, Silent Hills has garnered thousands of fans but with the recent split-up between Konami and Kojima Productions, fans are devastated as it brings the release date of the game in jeopardy.
