The MacBook Pro with Retina display 2015 launching is highly anticipated, especially that the previous Pro model has gained the nod of many Mac users than its MacBook Air cousin.

This week the talked about new specs details of the MacBook Pro include it sporting the latest Skylake 14Nm processors, Intel's Broadwell successor. If this is true, the MacBook Pro will feature advanced wireless networking and connectivity.

Another interesting rumor about the MacBook Pro concerns the Touch ID. Tech reviewers and experts expect the TouchID to be embedded in the trackpad, a technology update that is also rumored to be in MacBook Air 2015 version. The Touch ID will become a welcome addition to the MacBook's Magic Mouse and Desktop Mac's Magic Trackpad

Aside from that, a biometric sensor is also being speculated to arrive to MacBook devices this year after sighting a patent on Touch ID and cellular connectivity. In the US patent filing, a record of a patent code 20150049275 entitled: Hinged Portable Electronic Device with Display Circuitry Located in Base" is described to allow Touch ID features and cellular connectivity via the use of hinge.

Both the news about Apple possibly eyeing the integration of the Touch ID technology in the trackpad and the patent sighting came from Apple Club and was mentioned in a report from IBTimes.

There's also the possibility that Apple will update the MacBook Pro with CD/DVD drive in 2015 by releasing MacBook Pro with non-Retina display. Rumors are going opposing directions, however, with one indicating a possible update and the other of dropping it from Apple's product line-up completely.

Apple's next MacBook Pro with Retina display could be introduced in the first half of 2015 at WWDC conference which might take place this year on June 8-15. Other updated Apple products that will be released this year include the iPhone 6s and the 12-inch Retina MacBook Air.
