'The Good Wife' season 6 mid-season premiere airs this Sunday March 1, at 9pm. Fans are going to see a thrilling sequence, as Alicia Florrick in the upcoming episode titled "Dark Money", will be challenged with her values.
According to TV Line, the show-runner Robert King revealed that the main reason for bringing in the election sequence is "to depict the ethical challenges of a sincere candidate, who either thrive or crash down during the process."
Furthermore, viewers will also see how Alicia's staff putting her campaign at risk. It was reported that Alicia's staff decides to create a fake Twitter account to correspond with her political action committee (PAC, which might go wrong and affect her campaign.
Later on, the PAC goes on "employing flase-flag robocalls" against Frank Prady, as a result of the decision.
"A false-flag robocall is something where you pretend to be the other campaign, but you're really trying to turn off the voter, make them nasty," according to co-creator Robert King. "Here, it's one that's a very homophobic smear being done by Alicia's PAC."
Meanwhile, King also revealed that there will be a "minimal nudity and minimal sauciness" to happen between the couple -Julianna and Matthew.
Though King did not disclose much details about the hot scenes, he said, "Julianna Margulies and Matthew Goode are amazing with that kind of tension."
The show runner also discussed Alicia's excitement to go off with somebody. "Alicia is struggling with her own good-girlness... seems to be attracted to bad boys."
The 30-second preview trailer for this episode shows Alicia inviting Elfman to her room and a sequence prior to that shows her getting intimate with someone.
However, King did not deny a "power couple sequence" between Alicia and Peter.
