"The Winds of Winter" is an enormous and complex work according to the recent revelation of the publisher of George RR Martin. The Author of the epic novel "A Song of Ice and Fire" is working hard on its latest installment even though he is involved with several other projects since he plans to release to book as early as possible without any further gimmicks.
PUBLISHER REVEALS CONTENT
Jane Johnson at HarperCollins earlier stated that "The Winds of Winter" is not yet scheduled this year in their publication. Stating that "I have no information on likely delivery," however, the Johnson said that "These are increasingly complex books and require immense amounts of concentration to write. Fans really ought to appreciate that the length of these monsters is equivalent to two or three novels by other writers."
Considering that the previous instalments in "A Song of Ice and Fire" epic novels are already lengthy fans can expect that the upcoming "The Winds of Winter" will be more than what they could ask for from George RR Martin. It was also additionally reported that the last two books in Martin's opus will be over fifteen hundred pages in length. While this is yet to be confirmed it will surpass the lengths of the author's previous work in his epic novel.
GEORGE RR MARTIN IS HARD AT WORK
George RR Martin is determined to finish his novel as soon as possible. In his recent update in his live journal blog, the author revealed that he is now back at home after travelling to Ncogdosches Film Festival. He also said that he will now be back at work in order to finish up "The Winds of Winter" even though he is currently involved in other projects such as High Stakes in the Wild Cards series and Knight of Seven Kingdoms.
The author also revealed that he was glad to see his old friends and made new ones in his trip. He evensaid that he "Did some business too, discussing a very cool new project I am working on with H'ard, Mike, and Joe R. More on that later." The good news is he is now home again even though he is "facing the usual mountain of mail and email, and of course the monkeys on my back... those noisiest of them being HIGH STAKES, volume twenty-three in the Wild Cards series, and of course the Son of Kong, THE WINDS OF WINTER."
"The Winds of Winter" is the son of Kong according to George RR Martin and it will be the lengthiest work he had ever done. Hopefully he can finish it as soon as possible since a lot of fans are dying to know the fate of their favorite characters in the epic novel "A Song of Ice and Fire". Stay tuned for more updates!
