Ubisoft clarified today that the leaked video footage of "The Division" appeared online recently was just taken from a pre-alpha build of the game and is not from the game itself. Beta testing rumored to have it this year.
One site source mentioned about Ubisoft's statements that the recently leaked footage of the game is "not representative of the game's current quality." The short clip was taken from the pre-alpha test from the internal Xbox One which was posted alongside the pair of screenshots appeared to be in the same build.
Gaming Bolt showed two screenshots from the Xbox One version of The Division which displays less impressive images than the vertical slices of the gameplay.
The game developer released a statement in response to the game leak. Ubisoft said, "These low resolution images and video originate from a pre-alpha test currently organized by the development team to evaluate the server infrastructure in a real world setting. A large portion of the game features have been removed in this build and therefore is not representatives of the game's current quality," they added, "The team is focusing on providing the best experience for players, and we can't wait to show you more."
The Division was first displayed during the Ubisoft's E3 conference where it grabbed a lot of attention from the gamers. However, after the appearance, the game developer has no word about further information about the progress of the game if it will be released this year or not. Other gamers were already been impatient about their waiting. But, still, they remained silent about its release.
Meanwhile, there is no exact date of release yet for The Division as the game developer responded to the one of the tweets. They said, "'2015' is the best answer we can give as of today."
Moreover, there was a rumor that "The Division" will have its beta testing later this year, but, there is no word yet from Ubisoft about this issue.
