‘Batman: Arkham Underground’ Is ‘Clash of Clans,' More Game Details To Watch Out For

By

With the "Batman: Arkham" series coming to a close, it seemed that the only way for its developers would be to keep moving forward. Their next stop would be the creation of a new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game titled "Batman: Arkham Underworld;" however, this wouldn't be any "Batman: Arkham" game fans have been used to before.

In fact, "Batman: Arkham Underworld" developers have already outlined the gameplay in the game's official website. The outline said that "build a hideout, then recruit and train an army of henchmen. Command iconic super-villains from 'Batman: Arkham' universe, including the Riddler, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc and others. Grow a criminal empire and afterwards vanquish the enemies to earn loot and respect."

Many observers believed that the game would look and feel more like "Clash of Clans," based on a report from Toucharcade. The report added that with the popularity of "Clash of Clans," it would not be a wonder why "Batman: Arkham" developers have eyed the prospect of evolving the game in order to grab a piece of the mobile gaming market pie. That would certainly be a huge pie, even a slice of it would surely give the "Batman: Arkham Underworld" game an extreme sugar rush, if it played its cards right.

Meanwhile, "Clash of Clans" would be undergoing server maintenance based on its creator Supercell. In a response to one eager gamer, Supercell said that they would be making the maintenance as quick as possible.

The maintenance work would focus on issues encountered by the gamers after the release of the "Clash of Clans" Clans Perk update. Among the fixes that would be included were issues with Clan XP not being correctly rewarded at the end of the wars; Teslas were no longer visible in the village thumbnail in player profile; and fixed dragon fire visual effect.

While "Clash of Clans" would be on maintenance, a beta sign-up form for "Batman: Arkham Underworld" could be checked at the game's website. Perhaps, lucky gamers selected for the beta would soon be able to check the difference between the two MOBA games.
