'Mortal Kombat X' PS4, Xbox One, PC release goes mobile as gamers to expect character's comeback

By

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed that Mortal Kombat X will be available in mobile devices as a fighting game/card battle hybrid as NetherRealm Studios took its development for larger releases in Playstation, Xbox, and Windows platforms in April 14, 2015.

Players can now enjoy the gaming experience that Mortal Kombat X brings as the publisher Warner Bros. announced that the game will be available in mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and more. NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon said, "NetherRealm Studios has created a Mortal Kombat X mobile experience that allows more players than ever before to play this over-the-top fighting game through their ever-present smartphones, tablets or other devices."

It was reported that the mobile version is able to unlock content in the console or Windows version and vice versa through WB Play account. This version will be available in iOS and Android devices. With the mobile version, too, the players can enjoy the combiation of fighting, card collection, and multiplayer combat in the gameplay. Plus, it will be alongside with the extensive roster of characters including Sub-Zero and Raiden and some newcomers. However, there is still no confimation if they will share the same rosters with both versions and if there would also be available bonuses with both.

He added, "What's more, we've expanded the unique cross-connectivity feature that links the mobile and console versions of Mortal Kombat X, delivering unique rewards to all players for simply playing the mobile game."

Meanwhile, the game developer also released the character to include in the upcoming game. They named him, "Kenshi," the blind swordsman, who was reported to have his comeback to this year's version. However, there is yet uncertainty if the leaked information about his return to the gameplay is true or not. Amid doubts from fans, Kenshi was not that prominent in terms of his role to the entire gameplay except to his involvement to the NetherRealm War when was responsible for Scorpion who was then turning against to his demonic side while joiningthe heroes. But sad to say that Kenshi will unlikely be in the mobile version.

Another leak was also found. There was an image released online where it was believed to be Jax, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage 25 years later. Yet, there is no confirmation about this appearance from the game developer themselves. It was also mentioned that Mortal Kombat X will feature the next generation of murderers as well as their parents.

Mortal Kombat X will arrive in mobile version particularly in iOS and Android devices and with consoles and PC this April 14, 2015. Unfortunately, with the former, there is no exact date yet from NetherRealm Studios about the exact date of release and other further details about the progress of the game development including the mechanics.
