Major mobile carriers in the US Sprint and T-Mobile have just started their rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3, respectively following the series of updates in Samsung devices here in the past few days.
Recently, Sprint have already hinted in its website that they are rolling out the update for Galaxy Note 4 soon. Verizon and AT&T have not released a statement of the same news until now.
No other US carrier has released an official Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy Note 3. Other countries who already enjoyed the update since last month include the United Kingdom, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Romania. The update was made available to Qualcomm Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to such countries with model number SM-N9005.
With build number N910PVPU1BOB7, Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update will feature enhanced changes in design, security improvements and notification enhancements. For Galaxy Note 4, the update will bring in some improvements in Wi-Fi calling.
With build number N900TUVUFOB5, T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 will feature changes in visual and graphics design. Complete list of features for Galaxy Note 3 have been specified by Samsung in its web support.

Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air update needs good Wi-Fi connection and 1 GB of memory space. Make sure also the battery is well charged up to prevent inconvenience while the update is on-going.
For automatic update, Samsung notification message that update is now available will pop up on screen. Simply tap the message and follow on-screen instructions to complete the update.
For manual update, go to Settings > About device > Software update > Check now.
Meanwhile, in India, Android 5.0 Lollipop has been rolled out also to Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 devices. With build number N900XXUEBOB2, the update can be download through Samsung Kies.
