Google's latest operating system update for mobile can be download over-the-air (OTA) with over 1 GB extra storage capacity. Before installing the update, users must back up first storage and memory files to avoid losing important files.
If an OTA notification message pops up onscreen via Kies that update is ready, user can tap the message and follow instructions to enable automatic downloading. However, if mobile carriers have not made the update available, advanced users can manually upgrade the firmware by going to Setting > About Phone > Systems Updates > Check for Updates.

Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy S4 first received the same update last week. A mobile site has enabled a tracker to keep tabs on where the latest Lollipop update will be available next.
