A monstrous lore from the X-men universe is about to bring terror and chaos to the lives of your beloved mutants. The upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, the concluding movie of the trilogy that started from the X-Men: First Class and the X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to unleash its powers in cinemas this coming May 27, 2016.
Screenwriter Simon Kinberg hinted on how the plot of the "X-Men: Apocalypse" will go. "It will focus primarily on the 'First Class' cast but it will have some of the original cast involved too." It is also assumed that the movie will revolve around the frightening return of Apocalypse. Who is Apocalypse?
Apocalypse is an X-Men lore that talks about an immortal Egyptian God that mutated after being locked inside an alien space craft. The Egyptian God, En Sabah Nur was a tyrant and an evil god. He was considered as one of the first mutants in the world. The movie will most likely narrate a few bits and details about the life of Apocalypse. He, just like the other mutants is an unwanted child, feared and rejected by society. He was adapted but was never shown loved and was thought to live a life of survival. He believed that survival of the fittest must always prevail. His mutant powers managed to keep him alive for many years and most probably, in this movie, will continue on his pursuit for power and revenge.
Ben Hardy is the latest addition to the new casts of actors included in the movie. He's rumored to play a very significant role in the movie. Will he play as the Apocalypse? Apocalypse is an immortal, but it was never mentioned if he was a young lad who has been alive for more than 5,000 years or an old rut that has super powers. Thus it is safe to assume that he's young and at the peak of his prime, making Ben Hardy from "EastEnders" a potential actor to land on the role.
Several new additions has already been casted and announced for the movie. Sophie Turner who plays as Sansa Stark in the HBO series will play as Jean Grey. Tye Sheridan won the role of the young Cyclops and Kodi Smith-McPhee takes on the role of the young Nightcrawler.
Bryan Singer shared on his Instagram account that the first full production meeting for the movie was already concluded last March 4 in Montreal. Filming is set to commence this coming April as the movie is scheduled to be release next year, May 27, 2016 in the cinemas.
