The initial installment of the conclusion of the Hunger Games series is finally out in BluRays and DVD's this March 6, 2015. The movie is considered as a prelude to the grand finale of the much acclaimed movie series that was adapted from the books written by Suzanne Collins. The movie was released last year, November 21, 2014 and earned a total of $316,174,560 in the box office.
The "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" is the top most requested movie to be released in BluRay and DVD copies according to Dvdsreleasedates.com. Running behind is the third installment of the Hobbit, 'The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies' and the controversial 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'
Meanwhile, the "Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb" will be released in BluRay and DVD on March 10, 2015. The movie ranks 9th in the most requested movies to be released on DVD list.
The 'Night of the Museum 3" is the last movie of the late Robin Williams. The popular fantasy movie shifted its story to the British Museum. Unfortunately, this movie made a total of 248 million dollars globally with a 127 million budget, a far cry from what the Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 achieved in the box office.
On the other hand, Lionsgate is teaming up with internationally acclaimed Buena Vista international to help them launch the theatrical release of the 'Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2" in Russia as well as in the other Commonwealth of Independent States.
