Microsoft's Windows 8.1.2 Only Available in New Smartphones Update: New exciting, cool features to include in new OS

Microsoft, considered the technology giant, will release Windows 8.1 to its next Windows phone operating system iteration. Yet, this will be available for newer smartphones.

According to recent news, a tweet from a Microsoft analyst and enthusiast Paul Thurott, revealed about the company's move to release Windows 8.1 Update 2 to its new smartphones with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 OS.

Through his official Twitter account, he said, "Unconfirmed, but source tells me Windows Phone 8.1.2 will not roll out to previous phones, just ship on new devices."

This means that those older versions of smartphones will not be able to avail the new Windows operating system since it will not be compatible with the OS needed for Windows 8.1.So, phones such as Lumia 640, and Lumia 640 XL has the capacity to run Windows 8.1 Update 2.

With the new OS introduced to smartphones, Microsoft shared that the users will be able to enjoy newest features that it could offer. As mentioned by the same source, it can allow users to organize their settings in an alphabetical order to effectively search the applications in their application list.

Another cool feature will be the ability of the phone to toggle mobile data in Action centre. Then, the phone's OS also has the support to Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and support to 2k resolution are also included. However, these two features remained unconfirmed whether they will be included.

Moreover, users can also have pre-defined phase as quick as they can through the picking feature of the phone. It can also allow users to paste any text input field. Above all, the coolest feature to offer to geeks will be Bluetooth keyboards.

Bluetooth Keyboard has already been a feature with other Android and Apple as they have been reported that they currently sending out their updates with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and iOS 8.0. Through this application, users can just immediately type just like the usual keyboard. Yet, what makes it interesting is that this application can be compatible in Windows phone contrasting to the previous Windows 6.0 of Microsoft such as the Lumias.

There were also reports citing the Microsoft has recently revised some of this feature. This included the new firmware update that can slightly tweak the screen, as well as the options for the users to go back to home screen.

In addition, Microsoft has also taken away the camera, and other privacy features to include in the permission settings of their applications. But, surely, VLC which used to be in PC, will now be available in Windows 8.1.2.

Another report also said that the VLC in Windows phone will be a beta version, however, doesn't contain suffix if the date is lost after latest update. This application can now be downloaded through from Windows Phone Store.

These features mentioned hinted to include with Microsoft's new phone's OS, Windows 8.1 Update 2. But fans should remain patient while waiting for the updates by April.
