Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are in for a treat as a new "Terminator" series will hit the theaters these coming years. Many updates regarding the latest movie sequel entitled "Terminator Genisys" have been circulating the web and fans are now struggling for more info.
The "Terminator Genisys" is the first part of the upcoming Trilogy of the Terminator franchise. The story revolves around the original hero of the story played by the main man Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. The whole story would involve a whole retelling of the original movie. No, this movie is not some boring narrative. The Terminator Genisys will be incorporating a whole new attack on science. This movie will be centering not on upgrades on the body of the hero but it will center on the whole new science of time travel.
Now this would put the movie in a dangerous spot since not all Time Travel movies became a huge hit. So how would this be different? Well the whole concept of this film is to push the reset button of the entire franchise, according to Christian Today. Also, fans would find themselves glancing at two terminators. How's that for a plot twist? Here are some highlights from the film courtesy of Blastr.
"I got myself in shape and felt great, the way I looked in the movie. I think it's going to be a great movie with great surprises, none of which you can see in the trailer, simply because of the visual FX... to recreate me from 1984, every single frame has to be recreated... and it's quite a long scene. The idea is in 1984 when you see me walking across naked to those punks and say 'Give me your clothes.'
Now the scene changes. As I (the young Arnold) say 'Give me your clothes,' suddenly you hear a voice behind me say 'You won't need them.' So the Terminator turns around to check out who is that, and all of a sudden he sees himself, which is me the way I look now, and I'm there with a shotgun, and I just blast away at him. We'll be having some great surprises about who is the ultimate villain that I have to fight, how I was reprogramed, and the time travel. You can't travel through time when you have metal exposed, and my arm gets deteriorated... the flesh, because of some acid... so then my metal arm is exposed, therefore I cannot use the time machine."
Well I don't want to be the one to give the spoilers but for those who intend to watch Terminator Genisys, prepare yourselves for a huge cliffhanger. The Terminator Genisys will be in theaters this July 1, 2015. Sequels to the movie will be on May 2017 and June 2018.
