OnePlus is one of the biggest smart phone producers. With the success of the release of their high-end smart phones, OnePlus is ready to release the next member of its family, the OnePlus Two.
One could remember the hype given to the original OnePlus One by the time it was launched. It was highly publicized for its great performance and affordable price. However, new speculations have risen with regards to a whole revamped look for the OnePlus Two. The design would be completely different from its predecessor.
The OnePlus Two is said to adapt a metal design which is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6, reports Product Reviews.
However, there is a unique feat of OnePlus smart phones and that is their amusing names. The Original OnePlus One was nicknamed "bacon" while the upcoming OnePlus Two will be nicknamed "Lettuce". It would seem that OnePlus might be trying to come up with a "Burger". This is in parallel with Android who had named its OS upgrades with candies like Kitkat, Jellybean, and now Lollipop.
With regards to its specs, the OnePlus Two will be having a better LTE support as compared to its original. It will also be sporting a more updated hardware. The new OnePlus Two will be having a 5.5 inch QHD display. It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and an Oxygen OS combined with an Android Lollipop. It will sport a 4GB of RAM and a 32GB of storage. Its camera will run up to a 16MP rear camera. Its battery life will also be lengthened which now runs with a 3,100Ah battery.
OnePlus Two will run with its Oxygen OS. According to VCPost, the Oxygen OS was named as it is because of its simplicity and usefulness. The possible launch date for the OnePlus Two will be on the third quarter of the year.
