Naruto New Era Project: ‘Boruto: Naruto the Movie’ heads to Japanese theaters as Live Stage Musical Play premieres this March

Naruto New Era Opening Project is slowly unfolding as Masashi Kishimoto earlier revealed his follow up projects to the success and conclusion of Naruto Manga last year. "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" which is the spin-off of "The Last: Naruto the Movie" will be heading to Japanese theaters early this year. The Live Naruto Stage Musical Play is also set to premiere this March.

Masashi Kishimoto has announced last 2014 that "The Last: Naruto the Movie" is not the final film from the Naruto Universe. Even though it is canonical and part of the conclusion of the story of Naruto Manga, there are still upcoming Naruto projects this 2015.

BORUTO: NARUTO THE MOVIE

One of the projects that have been revealed is the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" which is set as a follow up to "The Last: Naruto the Movie". The sequel will tackle the life of Naruto's son and the new generation of ninjas of the hidden leaf. A possible romance may brew between Boruto and Salada, which is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, as they take on Orochimaru as the main villain for the upcoming film.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is scheduled to hit the Japanese theaters early this year and it is expected to hit the US Theaters later this year or early 2016 as what they have done in "The Last: Naruto the Movie".

NARUTO STAGE MUSICAL PLAY ALL SET

Another project that has been revealed is the upcoming Naruto Musical Stage Play and it is still part of the "Naruto New Era Opening Project". The Stage play will feature live actors portraying the story of Naruto during his first mission in the land of waves where he encounters Zabuza. The play will include drama, songs, dance and acrobatics as the performer covers the story from the manga. It is scheduled to hit the AiiA Theater in Tokyo this March 21 to April 5 and follow up performance across Japan is set on April. It has also been scheduled for overseas shows from May to June.

"Naruto New Era Opening Project" will be the follow up to the success and conclusion of Naruto Manga. Kishimoto Masashi promises that there will be more projects which will follow "The Last: Naruto the Movie", the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" spin off movie.
