Disney green-lighted the production of the sequel to the all-time highest grossing animation film of the company, "Frozen". Josh Gad, the voice talent behind the lovable snowman character "Olaf" tweeted the announcement. "Backstage with #JohnLasseter after announcing #Frozen2. As you can see we are not mildly excited." Kristen Bell, the actress voicing one of the lead cast, Anna, did express her excitement to the announcement, which can let us assume that she is returning for the sequel as well. "Dreams really do come 2!!! #FROZEN2 #itsofficial" Bell tweets, with a picture of her head resting on a bag of ice.
Other than Josh Gad, there hasn't been any official announcement on which of the cast will return but with Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel's return in the "Frozen Fever" short film, the two are expected to return for the sequel as well. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will be returning to direct the film but will the famous "Let It Go" composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez make music for the sequel as well?
