Nintendo's trademark Super Mario and Pokemon including Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire games finally release on smartphones and tablets, the announcement came out Tuesday.
These game characters have been firmly protected by Nintendo over the years as features exclusive to Nintendo platforms such as the Wii home console and 3DS mobile machines.
However, years after scoffing at the threat from smartphones, Nintendo Co.is signing an alliance with Japanese mobile game company DeNA Co. to develop games for mobile devices.
Both companies revealed that they will build a global membership service for other several devices including personal computers, smartphones and Nintendo machines set to launch in the fall of 2015.
They added that the mobile games will not be sole adaptation of the games outed for the Nintendo machines but especially created for the smartphone experience. This partnership will combine Nintendo's intellectual property and game development skills with DeNA's expertise in mobile games, the announcement said.
In related story, Game Freak and Nintendo have released the first worldwide passcode for 'Pokemon Shuffle.' According to My Nintendo News, players can enter the passcode 20150007 to get two Mega starts and have seven days to play the Meowth Stage that will be culminating on March 23.
IBTimes reported that those who haven't checked the Pokemon Bank in the last few weeks, a reward has been made available for users which was announced at the official website, where a special distribution will happen for three Pokemon.
These Pokemon are the final evolved forms of the starter Pokemon from 'Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver.' These are Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr, all of which come with Hidden abilities such Leaf Guard, Flash Fire, Sheer Force, respectively.
All three evolved starters can be acquired at Pokemon Link for players who have the 'Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire'. These Pokemon will only be available until Nov. 30 before Game Freak announces its title for 2015.
