This update comes free adding 40 new stages to Adventure Mode including boss battles, 3D grid shapes and gameplay types alongside the Sweeper drone and Detonator super abilities.
Moreover, it also modifies the former level gating system in a way to pave an easier progress and unlock modes.
On the other hand, a Hardcore Mode is added as well and tasks players in a mission to complete 20 levels without a drone or super. There will be individual leaderboards for this, too.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved is offered as a free update for existing Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions players but for new players, the update will be sold for the same price upon release by end of this month. The whole package features over 100 levels to complete.
The title under the development of Lucid Games and Aspyr published by Sierra Entertainment outed in November las year and was almost immediately drowned in the tidal wave of large game releases surrounding it. It is a solid game, however, that offers some fun modes bringing the classic versions of the game to the current generation of consoles and Sierra aims to give the game some new life with this new update.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions was released late last year and the updated version, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved, will be available on March 31 on PS4 and PS3, PC, Mac and Linux via Steam while Xbox One and Xbox 360 players get their hands on the title, April 1.
