Creative Assembly confirms the release of Total War: Attila new DLC, 'Celts Culture Pack', that contains new Celtic factions and missions in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
The Celts Culture Pack is the second DLC release for Total War: Attila adding three new playable factions to the Picts, the Caledonians and the Ebdanians. Each of these factions may be used in single or multiplayer campaign modes as well as in custom and multiplayer battles.

IGN noted that until this point, Celtic factions have been unplayable and represented with Scandinavian or Roman units, resulting a few complaints to crop up on the Steam forums.
This new content should be helpful to put a weight on the rather uncommon tribes of what is now known as Ireland creating a distinct style of play all along. The Celtic tribes of the Ebdanians, Caledonians and Picts will be playable for the first time owning quick and extreme warfare particularly on sacking, looting and raiding, Gamespot noted.
Despite that each faction is proud of its own unique traits, each unit in the roster also bears the Guerilla Deployment trait - concluding that they can be sent out almost anywhere on the battlefield including on the wrong side of enemy lines.
The Total War: Attila DLC release also introduces players to new Prestige Buildings, talent trees for Celtic generals and a single narrative event, Cucle of the Ollam Ri.
IGN's War Attila review wrote, "Attila is an adept refinement of Rome 2. From the desperately paced campaign map down to each individual skirmish on the ash-specked earth, it's a cleaner, better thought-out experience. There are more impactful decision to make, and better utilities with which to make them [...] Attila's overall strengths put it among the best forays in the Total War series."
Total War: Attila Celts Culture Pack DLC becomes available to pre-order starting March 18 and similar to the two other faction packs available, players might possibly shell out £5.99 on a release date yet to be announced soon.
