Star Wars Battlefront 3 Update: 64-Player Mode, Galactic Civil War, Five DLCs, And More

By

Star Wars: Battlefront 3's latest and most-awaited public appearance is expected next month as game geeks suggest to increase the game's publicity through the annual Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California on April 16 to 19.

Packed with big names in the industry, Battlefront's game design director Niklas Fegraues confirmed recently that their team has already been in closed-door meetings with partners and will show Battlefront 3's next official trailer in public "this spring," when the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens hit theaters. In 2013, the game had already been announced to hit E3 this year.

Fegraues told IGN in January 2015: "One of the things we hear is that it doesn't feel like other shooters and that it's fully born from Star Wars. That really strikes a chord with me and the team as that is exactly the emotion and feeling we are going for and we can't wait to show the world more this spring."

According to a report, the latest Star Wars installment will be included in Lucas Film's Star Wars universe. With this, EA has to meet standards of the studio.

A multiplayer component has already been confirmed by EA to be part of Battlefront 3 to become more consistent with the other Star Wars titles.

Meanwhile, a battle composed of 64 players with 32 teams is also sited to come. The campaign also puts gamers in two perspectives-the Republic and the Separatists, and the Rebels and Imperials-set in the Galactic Civil War, one of Star Wars famous battles. Space to ground battle will also enable players to shift between the two battlefields.

Plus, Battlefront 3 is reported to bring five DLCs with new maps, thrilling vehicles and varied weapons.

Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is developed by Digital Illusion CE and published by Electronic Arts. It will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
