After getting brothers Joe and Anthony Russo to direct "Avengers: Infinity War", Marvel and Disney are reportedly engaging Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely to write Part 1 and Part 2 of the next instalment of the said franchise.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplays for "Captain America: Winter Soldier" and "Captain America: Civil War." Reports said Marvel chose Marcus and McFeely because it seems that both writers have worked very well with the Russo brothers.
Because of these, there are reports that "Captain America: Civil War" wil lset up the "Infinity War" storyline. It is also speculated that Thanos might make his appearance in "Civil War". He was seen in the first "Avengers" movie and "Guardians of the Galaxy".
The Russo Brothers signed up with Marvel after directing critically and commercially acclaimed "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in 2013. The brothers will direct parts 1 and 2 of "Avengers: Infinity War," taking over the billion-dollar franchise from Joss Whedon, who directed the first two Avengers films. "Infinity War" will begin shooting in 2016.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Marvel Entertainment, Director Joss Whedon said that more "secret" characters will show up in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." So far, the new "Age of Ultron" trailer shows that the additional characters are Pietro Maximoff also known as Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Wanda Maximoff who is popularly known as Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen).The main villain for the film is James Spader also known as Ultron - a technological figure that wants to see the extinction of the human race.
Badass Digest claimed that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will also introduce Captain Marvel. The report states that, despite the final make-up of the team varying between drafts, one character that has always been featured is Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will hit theatres on May 1.
