iOS 9 Update: New iOS Codenamed Monarch Scheduled for September 2015 Release

By

With iOS8 just being around for a few months, but already people are thinking about iOS 9 -- like when will it come out or what features it will bring to their beloved iDevices.

Rumors have it that the potential release of the iOS 9 is going to be September 2015, in conjunction with the release of the next generation of iPhones. The California-based company is known to release its flagship phones on a yearly basis, and it stands to reason that it will have a new OS by then.

Speaking of which, it's even supposedly named Monarch and is in its beta testing stage at this moment, while some suggest it to be for a June testing.

Word has it that Apple plans to release, the iOS 9 will be first seen at the WWDC 2015 in San Francisco on June 8, 2015.

And with the release of the new iOS, iPhone 4S may be on its way out as seen with previous trends. iOS 8 got rid of the iPhone 4 while iOS 7 closed down the iPhone 3GS two years ago. Apple is also said to be preparing to roll out its lightning port-required infotainment system called Apple CarPlay which is, of course, going to work with iOS 9.

Potentially, RAM may double as well since it happened between the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5. That's from 512MB to 1GB RAM.

Improvements to Siri, Apple's personal assistant and knowledge navigator, will most likely be seen.

As early as now, a lot of online wishlists have been coming out, with users wanting to see features such as new home screen widgets, guest and kids mode, actual multi-tasking, and more interface shortcuts among a lot of other lists some of which reach as long as 22 new feature requests. Hopefully, developers over at Apple will take time to read and consider them in making the new iOS 9.
