Gamers are now getting a better idea of how "Breath of Fire 6" may ultimately look like with more news coming out about the highly-anticipated title.
Fans of the franchise may be surprised by the addition of classes and costumes into the world of "Breath of Fire." Previous editions of the game featured a straightforward turn-based roleplaying game with fully-fleshed out characters, so the chance to customize is a change.
In the example shown of the game, a character is shown first starting out as a "Novice" before advancing enough and being given the chance to choose between two higher classes, the dual sword-wielding "Slayer" or the "High Guard" equipped with the classic sword and shield, according to MMO Site.
No other classes have been revealed so far.
Players can also choose to change their characters' looks by acquiring and equipping different accessories and costumes located all throughout the game, according to IGN.
The game also has multiplayer mode, allowing for players to engage in multi missions. In these missions, players can form a team consisting of up to four to take on some of the game's most challenging bosses.
When they aren't engaged in multi missions, players can also convene in Castle Town to recruit friends or simply chat.
Aside from all the new elements, "Breath of Fire 6" is also returning some fan favorites.
"Dragon Transformation," which as the name would suggest, allows players to change into a fire-breathing beast of legend just as they were able to do in the earlier games from the franchise.
Players worrying the game may be changing too much from what it originally was, can also take comfort in the fact that it will still have a single player story mode for them to explore.
"Breath of Fire 6" will be playable on smartphones, according to Techno Buffalo.
No formal date for the game's release has been announced.
