A younger cast of the "Fantastic Four" was revealed months ago prior to its production. Hopefully, with a new set of characters for the upcoming reboot, rumors and speculations of the movie being a potential flop in the cinemas would seize to stop. The recent released of a poster from the film as well as the untimely reveal on how the "Thing" will look like in the upcoming movie would hopefully create enough hype and enthusiasm to create a massive following for the movie.
The idea of the Fantastic Four entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe together with Wolverine and the rest of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy could also be a trigger to market this upcoming movie reboot to box-office hits. The younger generation of the Fantastic Four is out to face the usual enemy, Dr. Doom but they will have to face the villain in a different realm. And this unfamiliar realm is most likely the same dimension where the Avengers, Wolverine and the rest of the heroes of the Marvel Universe will face Thanos and the rest of his new found friends.
The reboot of the Fantastic Four movie is not just an accidental one. It is created to complete a series of actions that will lead this team to the Infinity wars. As a matter of fact, in the comic books, the "Thing" will even be highlighted in the movie as he battles with a deadly and evil doppelganger created by Magus, Adam Warlock's evil side. This movie could also set motion to the "possible" and "necessary" introduction of Adam Warlock, a very crucial character in the Infinity War series.
Meanwhile, an unfortunate early and unlikely release of the "look" of the "Thing" was spoiled by a fan in his Instagram account. Thing's character and look was supposed to be a surprise or would rather be released in a more special way. Rumors of mismanagement from Fox's marketing department triggered the unglamorous and not so worthy release of the look of the character. This also led to speculations that the ill-fitting image might actually cause the film a block-buster hit in the cinemas.
The movie stars Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman, Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The movie is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015.
