Since Tokaige Game Party Japan exhibitions, one of Japan's top five most admired fighting gods, Haitani didn't appear to any of the announced game tournaments. He even didn't have plans to make bids for a big amount of $500,000 prize pool for the upcoming Capcom Pro Tour in 2015. However, fans are still hoping that he would soon appear for the upcoming game.
Yet, whenever a fan could have a rare chance to see Haitani in any of Street Fighter games, battles, or whatsoever, he is considered lucky. It is because this fighting god, known for his extreme fighting skills [even considered as a world class Makoto player], is uncommonly noticed on any appearance. Rarely seen as it seems, this superb player of Utra Street Fighter 4 [last game he attended], displayed same ultra fighting skills against his opponents.
The last time where Haitani seen was during Kyoto A-Cho arcade special event which was a month ago. That battle [Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike kumite session] made another headline which highlighted his beasting together with other high-level players.
During the Tokaige convention last February, he was with other 16 players who joined the said event. They were set to play for the entire duration of three hours. From the video footages seen, Haitani showed perfect fighting combinations.
Series of trailers, gaming videos wherein Haitani's beastly moves all throughout the game were most noticeable, throwing opponents like toys. Thus, no wonder why he was renowned as one of the top notch for Street Fighter game series.
Meanwhile, there were 14 leaked characters revealed from the recent reports. According to them, among these 14, three characters notched the others, named: Ryu, Chun-Li and the veteran Charlie Nash.
Along with the leaked information about Street Fighter 5's characters, Capcom also confirmed that they will have their game beta testing particularly for PS4 and PC platforms. There were no other announcements nor confirmations made by the game developer apart from the stated. So, fans have to wait further before any latest update to appear online.
At least, who knows, they might have another chance to see Haitani during the upcoming release of Street Fighter 5 by 2016.
