As the month of March came to a close, BioWare had been building so much hype about "Mass Effect 4." Many fans had also been sharing their two-cents on possible plots for the upcoming game as well as ideas for the gameplay.
The latest news about "Mass Effect 4" was that it would be part of BioWare's featured titles in the upcoming E3 2015 in June. The game's developers had also been hyping about supposed milestones on the project with very little proof of what sort of milestone their teams had already reached. However, it seemed that one of the reasons behind the mystery surrounding the "Mass Effect 4" project was due to the "secret IP" that BioWare had been developing for the upcoming game, especially after BioWare decided that they would focus the game's development on next generation game consoles PS4 and Xbox One while creating a PC edition as well, based on a report from Latinos Post.
Add to that, BioWare seemed to be very confident of what they had accomplished in the previous weeks. BioWare producer Michael Gamble had tweeted earlier that the milestones they had been reaching were very important in the creation of the upcoming "Mass Effect 4," since it allows them to review their progress and to make necessary adjustments in certain parts of the game development.
Gamble had also said that they were timing the release of additional information about the game, especially about the official title of the next installment in the "Mass Effect" franchise, based on a report from Paradiger. Add to that, other members of the development team have contributed to the hype bandwagon.
BioWare senior development director of 'Mass Effect' franchise Chris Wynn revealed that "combat is looking pretty great in the latest builds." He added that "biotics plus weapons plus powerful hardware is amazing." Wynn even noted that all these milestones were possible thanks to new and powerful hardware, based on a report from Gamepur.
As for the fans, they had been clamoring for some sort of continuity in the "Mass Effect" storyline. There had been reports that the next "Mass Effect" game would no longer include Commander Shepard; this made gamers left wonting for some connection between "Mass Effect 3" and the upcoming "Mass Effect 4." Some gamers also suggested that perhaps the developers could include Commander Shepard's child to bridge the two games' plots.
While little had been revealed about "Mass Effect 4," gamers would certainly be looking forward to E3 2015 when BioWare would finally reveal to its anticipating gamers what "Mass Effect 4" would look and feel.
