HTC will be releasing its newest phablet this year. The HTC One M9 Plus has already many online leaks regarding its design and features. The images showed a two tone design that is similar to the HTC One M9. The images were posted by Twitter source @upleaks.
The first attempt of HTC in creating a phablet was not really a flop but it was bombarded with criticisms and indifference from many. The HTC One Max had brought to the market some new features and had kept up with the trend regarding the fingerprint scanner and expandable storage. Overall, it was a passable tablet.
Currently, HTC is on its way to producing a presumably high end phablet. The HTC One E9 Plus is said to be similar in design to that of the M9 but the remarkable difference is the camera optics which can be inferred to belong to a larger mobile. But according to the leaks presented, the display would only be limited to a 5.2 inch display. This would prove to be relatively larger than the 5 inch M9 but smaller than the 6 inch One Max.
The 5.5 inch HTC One E9 Plus is also said to possess a 4K resolution with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795M processor. The phablet is also said have a 16MB worth of expandable storage via microSD. The phablet is uniquely dual sim and has an initial battery life of 2,800 mAh. The HTC One E9 Plus will run with an Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 on top.
The phablet is considerable 7.49 mm thick with a metal frame. This is in contrast to the full metal body that the HTC One M9 has. But it will be retaining its BoomSound front-facing speakers. Also according to the leaks, the phablet will be having an improved camera optics which could mean a better image taken through a better camera.
