Fans of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros.' long wait is over because the new DLC character Mewtwo is on its way and ready for purchase on the 28th this month. And not only that, it was also mentioned that there will be more DLC's in the following months along with purchasable fighter outfits, a source reported.
According to the site, the Mewtwo DLC is available for 3D's and Wii U for $4 a version and $5 for both platforms. However if you've already purchased the character for both platforms, add-ons will be made for free on the 15th.
Also, a bigger announcement was revealed by Nintendo wherein more DLC characters are coming after the release of Mewtwo, the site added. One of which is another DLC character, Lucas which will be made available sometime in June. To add up the fun and excitement for Super Smash Bros. gamers, additional outfits are also on its way ready for purchase that includes Dunban Outfit, Cat Suit, Monkey Suit, Link Outfit, Majora's Mask, X's Armor and the Proto Man Armor. Release dates for these add-ons however aren't revealed yet thus details may be announced later.
If you might wonder on how to purchase the DLC Mewtwo in both platforms, no need to worry it's quick and easy. For both platforms, an E-shop/DLC button is available where you can buy the item. You will then receive a download code for Wii U or 3DS that can be redeemed on the digital receipt that will be provided under E-shop, Nintendo Life explained.
Meanwhile, an announcement was also revealed through the Nintendo UK Twitter account in April 2 for gamers who took part in the Club Nintendo Promotion where they will be able to purchase the DLC on the 15th, a week earlier than the official release date.
Furthermore, Super Smash Bros. DLC Mewtwo is up and ready on April 28 for both 3DS and Wii U. Lucas, outfits and more DLC's are also on its way with no official release dates yet.
