'X-Men: Apocalypse' Updates: Ben Hardy cast as Angel, Wolverine to exit the franchise

By

Many of Angel's fans were disappointed on how the character was used in 'X-Men: The Last Stand.' And while Ben Foster's performance was not all bad (some critics have agreed that Foster's Angel performance was one of the redeeming qualities of the film, if any), many fans agreed that not only was he underused, but he was introduced the wrong way.

Hopefully, viewers would get to see more of Angel in 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' and with the reception of Hardy's character in 'EastEnders,' fans might just get an incredible performance from him.

Meanwhile, a report from Movie Pilot has also confirmed the casting of actress Lana Connor as Jubilee, as well as a potential tease that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine may finally leave the franchise for good. Jackman posted on Instagram an image of his hand with the Wolverine claws, along with the caption "Wolverine... One last time. HJ" Could this possibly mean that he is finally retiring and hanging his claws for good, or could he be using this to set up a third Wolverine film?

'X-Men: Apocalypse' hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
