'Bloodborne' PS4 Update: Sony reveals 'Bloodborne' tops Japan PSN chart; 'Disgaea 5' surprises gaming community as it climbed 2nd place

By

Just after a few weeks since it was launched, "Bloodborne" had topped the charts of Sony's Japan PlayStation Network. Apart from that, another surprise greeted that gaming community as "Disgaea 5" grabbed that second place.

Sony Computer Entertainment released the Japanese PSN ranking and "Bloodborne" was able to bag the top rank on the chart. Apart from that, "Disgaea 5" came second place in the latest chart, based on a report from DualShockers. The chart was revealed to the gaming community just a few weeks since "Bloodborne's" monumental release as well as the launch of game patch 1.02.

Earlier it was reported that Sony Computer Entertainment and From Software had been keeping an eye on a glitch would not allow gamers to progress in their game also known as the "progression breaking bug," which would kick in during an online multiplayer game through the use of a Resonant Bell" item from the Forbidden Woods. Another bug that was fixed by the game patch 1.02 would be the duplication glitch, which allowed gamers to replicate their items without any further costs.

Apart from that, "Bloodborne" gamers had also been sharing their experiences on the hell-on-earth game. Among the details the gamers shared were quick tips how to beat the (not so) mighty bosses in the game, based on a report from Cinema Blend. This cheat would involve switching of the PS4's power saving options and letting the game run for more than 12 hours. The gamer who attempted this cheat was successful with the Martyr Logarius boss fight. What's more interesting was that the results of the cheat could be replicated in other boss fights; it seemed that the bosses become less receptive of their environments that moment the game goes on a marathon of more than 12 hours, like a person who lacked sleep.

As for the Japan PSN chart's second place game, "Disgaea 5" had been available in the Japanese market since the end of March, based on a report from PlayStation Lifestyle. The strategy RPG game also made a gameplay video which was revealed prior to its release and included "the story's intro, lots of fancy battle moves, character creation" as well as "sweet combos" near the end of the video.

The "Disgaea 5" would be available to North America and the EU on a later date this year. While waiting for that, gamers could try out the cheats on "Bloodborne" and avoid dying many times over, just for once.
