Four months ago, Maguire's Robin Hood stole the hearts of the show's viewers and became one of the most beloved characters in the small screen. The good news is, it looks like fans of the show are going to get a chance of seeing him again in this Sunday's episode of 'Once Upon a Time,' according to an article published by ET Online.
Fans were left in shambles the last time they saw Robin Hood leaving his dearest Regina and the whole of Storybrooke in order to come to the aid of Marian, who used to be the love of his life and the mother of his son. Viewers of the show made several speculations as to when Robin would come back, but as months passed, many of these theories just faded into the limelight. Back then, it looked like Robin and Regina's love story was really at its end.
Maguire recently sat for an interview with ET Online and confirmed his return to the show this Sunday. When asked about what fans can expect in the upcoming episode, Maguire stated:
"There's a lot going into the back-story of how Robin kind of came to be Robin Hood, as opposed to Robin of Loxley. It's a little difficult to figure out how much to say without giving too much away, but basically in this episode we're going back into his past. We sort of find out a little bit about how he came to become an outlaw, and why he is the way he is - certainly in regards to his code of honor and things like that."
The interview also touched on what the state of Robin and Regina's relationship will be, especially given that they have not seen one another in quite a while.
"I feel like they're very much like Romeo and Juliet. Just an extraordinarily strong connection, and even though he had to go to New York to be with Marian, his mind is constantly on Regina and I think she's all he thinks about really," says Maguire.
'Once Upon A Time' airs this Sunday on ABC.
