LG G4, which will be introduced on April 28 in six different countries, is confirmed to have Android 5.0 Lollipop on board. The Korean tech company is eyeing six different cities in different countries where it will hold the simultaneous launching for the device.

The top 6 cities, namely New York, Paris, Seoul, London, Istanbul, and Singapore, will represent the major markets in the world that LG aims for LG G4 to have an immediate impact on. The top picks are primarily determined by the sales performance of G4's predecessor.

Radical Design

The LG G4 sports a 5.5-inch QHD LCD Panel, as revealed in LG's recently uploaded teaser video for the new smartphone. Other specs believed to arrive for the new device as shown in a GFXBench sighting include 2560 x 1440 resolution, a hexa core CPU @1.8GHz Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 808), and 32GB built-in storage. The LG G4 could also have a leather build based on the video.

Its processor should be faster than what the LG G3 has on board. Other enhanced features include the 15MP camera resolution with a laser focus, a 3GB RAM. It may also come with a free upgrade to Android 5.1 Lollipop once it is released in the market.

Can it surpass the very successful predecessor?

The pressure is high for the upcoming flagship device considering G3's good sales performance. Not tomention that it was widely lauded upon its introduction in May 2014.

So there are also bits of pressure on the latest flagship smartphone of LG to equal if not surpass what the G3 has done since last year.

The Korean tech company intends to position the LG G4 in major retail markets as HTC One M9 as well as Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are also coming out in the market this month. Thus, the one month earlier release date from the device's scheduled release date.

A new LG phablet is also rumored to be introduced on April 28, alongside LG G4 release. This, according to Android Community, can be a new phablet or the LG G4 itself.
