Pre-loading for 'GTA V' on the PC has begun and details about the mandatory update have also been revealed

After a long wait, PC gamers are now closer than ever to getting their hands on "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC as pre-loading for the game has already started.

Pre-loading is available to those who pre-ordered the game, and they can start the process by going to either the Rockstar Warehouse or Steam.

This is yet another crucial step towards the direction of the game finally being formally launched next week, according to Gamespot.

Fans who simply can't wait another second to start playing the game will definitely want to pre-load as this will enable them to fire up the game the very moment it becomes available.

"Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC will already come bundled together with the online mode and heists, so players will no longer have to dread waiting for those to be released as well, according to Segment Next.

The PC version of "Grand Theft Auto V" is expected to sport significantly better graphics than its counterparts released on the consoles, according to Videogamer.com.

Interestingly, it appears as though one intrepid gamer has somehow managed to get more than just a pre-load for the game.

The fan, simply known on Twitter as "Funmw4," has not just pre-loaded the game, but also downloaded the mandatory day one patch for it, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

The file comes in at around 58MB, and it seems as though players will need to have a Rockstar Social Club account to get it.

All of these details are unofficial, but fans should know soon enough.

"Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC was originally planned to be released at the same time as its counterparts for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 back in November, but issues delayed the release multiple times.

Barring any more unforeseen delays, "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC will be released next week on April 14.
