The world is safe from a 'Zombacalypse' invasion as people can turn to Call of Duty Advance Warfare gamers to save the day. In a massive show of zombie killing skills, Call of Duty Advance warfare players have achieved more than 2.5 billion zombie kills from its EXO suits. The impressive number of kills shows how apparently safe the world is from an end of the world, zombie scenario.
Also according to COD stats released by a Sledgehammer games info graphic, shows that not only did players manage to kill 2.5 billion zombies but also managed to use 2.2 trillion grenades, which is more than all grenades ever produced in every single war in human history. These stats may just seem a big number tally sheet for gamers, but it shows how massive gaming circles are for hard-hitting games such as the COD series. The numbers alone indicate that a significant number of people are into gaming and are fans of the series.
Call of Duty through the years
With the release of COD Advance Warfare and its DLCs, especially its EXO suits, the franchise had gone a long way from its very roots. This first person shooter franchise made its debut in 2003 with Call of Duty set in Europe during World War 2. The war game features the solitary 'super' soldier thrown into the fray in the heaviest and most dangerous objectives in the war.
However, a lot have changed and became more inclined to prioritize the importance of the squad or team in succeeding COD titles. A retrospective analysis was beautifully made by Noah Gervais, a Youtuber. He showed on his video, which was covered by Gameranz, that after a string of COD titles, Call of Duty Advance Warfare had made a full circle, returning back to the game's foundation and roots that made the franchise popular.
