As SCE Santa Monica Studio decided to re-launch "God of War III" Remastered, some gaming enthusiasts wondered if it was truly worthwhile for gamers to grab the PS4 edition of the game. Apart from that, a few "God of War" fans continued to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "God of War" by reminiscing the best boss fights the game had to offer.
As hardcore "God of War" fans waited for the launch date of "God of War III" Remastered, a few gaming enthusiasts weighed in on what the remastered edition would be offering versus the earlier edition of "God of War III." "God of War III" Remastered would be including all the previous DLC packs in the PS3 edition as well as "Challenge of Exile" that would open seven new challenges to gamers, not to mention new costumes and weapon skins, based on a report from GameIdealist.
Add to that, the "God of War III" Remastered edition would be including the photo mode that would enable gamers to capture digital photos of the game while paused. Apart from that, the highlight of remastered edition would certainly be on the graphic quality of the game, elevating it to the standard 1080p for next generation game consoles.
Then again, not everyone was impressed with the additional features; not even the improved 1080p graphic quality was not enough when gaming enthusiast look at the price of "God of War III" Remastered. If gamers were looking to experience the game for the first time, they could check out the earlier edition of "God of War III," since the developers did not change the story that revolved on Kratos seeking revenge from his entire brood (including the Titans) in Mt. Olympus (and also in the Underworld). The earlier edition could even be bought at a lesser price compared to when it was first released five years ago.
Meanwhile, SCE Santa Monica Studio community strategist Aaron Kaufman said that "God of War III" Remastered would most likely be the only remastered edition of the decade old "God of War" in PS4. He said that "remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play 'God of War 3' [five] years ago, but who we can bring it to on the [PS4]," based on a report from Gamespot.
Apart from that, the team that brought "God of War" to life had been working on a new project. "God of War II" director Cory Barlog who would be part of this new project could only describe the secret project as "freaking huge." It was not sure what game it would be or if it would be touch some aspects of the "God of War" legacy, since it seemed the team had already let the curtains fall on the "God of War" series for now.
On the other hand, many "God of War" fans still celebrated the many feats of Kratos in the "God of War" series. As the game reached its 10th anniversary, some gaming enthusiasts compiled a list of several boss fights that they enjoyed in the entire franchise. Among those the made it to the list were the hydra in "God of War I," the automaton Colossus of Rhodes and the last Spartan in "God of War II," and Kronos and his son (Kratos' father) Zeus in "God of War III," based on a report from Tech Times.
It's already an amazing feat that many "God of War" fans still worshipped the game that brought to life the Olympians and the Titans only to slaughter them one by one by an indignant Ghost of Sparta. Anything that might come along in the future of the franchise would definitely be a plus in the priceless experience gamers enjoyed in the game series, "God of War."
