Modern Family, ABC's award-winning sitcom, has been giving viewers stomach aches from so much laughing for six seasons now but will it renewed or cancelled for season 7? If it does, two actors already gave their predictions of what is coming to the screen and it could potentially involve a new romantic item that fans have been waiting to happen since the two characters met!
Even though Modern Family season 7 has not been confirmed as of yet, it would be a crime not to renew it. The show's last episode, "Grill, Interrupted" was viewed by millions of people in the United States, not to mention millions more all over the world through different channels and means. Modern Family's ratings have also been great throughout the season.
Despite that critics have said that the show's writing has been losing its spark recently, the show's sixth season brought the fire back and the writing has been better than ever. Modern Family has been making audiences laugh for years and it does not seem like anything is keeping the audience from finding it funny. Not to mention, the show and the cast have garnered multiple awards throughout their run so ABC will not have a good reason to cancel it.
As it is safe to say that season seven is just on the horizon, two actors from the show have expressed their predictions of what will happen in the next season. Ty Burrell, who plays Phil Dunphy, stated during PaleyFest that, "everybody's working really hard to make sure that we're still doing new things. I don't think characters really grow on a sitcom but [need to keep] doing new stuff, showing new sides."
Meanwhile Sarah Hyland, who plays Hayley Dunphy, expressed her hope that Andy (Adam DeVine) would get together with Hayley, especially since she revealed her feelings for him thinking he was unconscious but in reality he was not.
The future looks bright in Modern Family season 7 renewal that fans should not worry about. Meanwhile, stay tuned for Knock Em Down episode airs April 22 on ABC.
