The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" script is ready for production and original casts of the movie are about to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel. Karen Guiilan is already confirmed to play as Nebula once more in the film. The possibility of the introduction of Adam Warlock, a significant character in the "Infinity Wars" movie is also speculated in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie to be able to merge the Avengers Universe with that of the Guardians.
"The sequel is not really based on anything. The story of Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1," according to the movie director James Gunn. The possibility of a cameo role from Iron Man is also rumored to happen in the movie to complete the upcoming collaboration of the superhero with the Guardians.
Two new characters are rumored to be introduced in the movie. It is safe to assume that the first character would be Peter Quill's father and the second one Adam Warlock. Adam Warlock happens to be the only one capable of using the Infinity Gauntlet that has the powers to defeat Thanos in the Infinity Wars. He also possess cosmic powers, something close to what the Thanos has almost confirms his inclusion in the movie.
Karen Gillan is reprising her role as Nebula in the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie. Nebula is the adopted daughter of Thanos, the main villain in the movie. On the other hand, Ronan, another villain in the movie played by Lee Pace's will not be back on the film.
Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Zoe Aldana will most likely reprise their role for the movie sequel.
Production of the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie will start on February 2016 and will be released on cinemas on May 5, 2017.
