Cara Delevingne has greatly transitioned from being a model alone to taking on acting roles in several movies. The 19-year-old model is reportedly being eyed to star in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel alongside Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
Cara Delevingne is taking on every possible role in Hollywood - as a model, an editor for Love Magazine, an actress, and even as a singer. The "Paper Towns" actress is reportedly bound to take on a role for the BDSM movie, "Fifty Shades Darker."
Delevingne is said to have caught the attention of E.L. James, the author of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy and scriptwriter for the film.
"Cara is wowing in her performance in Pan with Hugh Jackman, and E.L. James loves the idea of her as a name being in the next movie," a source told the Daily Star.
While there are still no confirmation as to whether or not Delevingne has really been added to the cast of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel, fans of the BDSM movie are already speculating on the potential character that Delevingne might play.
"Fifty Shades Darker" introduces new characters including Elena (whom Anastasia Steele calls Mrs. Robinson), Leila Williams, and a couple of ladies from Ana's new office.
Delevingne will most unlikely play Mrs. Robinson given the age, but fans are already speculating on the possibility that Delevingne will be playing Christian Grey's former submissive, Leila Williams.
If Delevingne will play the role of Christian's ex, it will be interesting to see her take on a role of a jealous and somewhat insane ex-girlfriend who stalks Ana and tries to threaten her with a gun.
Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades of Darker" has yet to find a new director after Sam Taylor Johnson announced his exit from the franchise. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will be reprising their roles for the sequel.
