PC gamers would soon be getting their hands on the PC edition of "Grand Theft Auto V" this April 14th. However, it seemed that gamers from North America would be able to get access on the game first before their UK counterparts as Rockstar Games set the launch of the PC edition at 12AM BST on April 14th, which would be 7PM EDT (4PM PDT) on April 13th, Monday.
Rockstar Games went to Twitter and announced the time difference when the game would be unlocked across the world. "GTA 5" would be currently available for pre-load and would be unlocked on the hours specified by the game developer in their "Rockstar Support" Twitter account. The tweet caused mixed reactions from fans ranging from issues concerning the pre-load to clarifications on when the game would be accessible.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games revealed the open-world title's extensive graphics options while gamers wait for the worldwide launch of "Grand Theft Auto V" PC edition, based on a report from GameSpot. "GTA 5" PC edition would be having two visual settings, which would be Graphics and Advanced Graphics. Among the settings that gamers would be able to alter in the game would be the "overall resolution, aspect ratio, population density and distance scaling" to name a few.
In an earlier report, "Grand Theft Auto 5" PC edition was originally set for release on January. However, it was later moved to March due to several improvements on the game that would allow it to smoothly run at 1080p 60fps and would also do well with 4K support. Unfortunately, the launch date was further moved to April as Rockstar Games released more images of Los Santos featuring rich graphic detail.
By mid-March, Rockstar released the latest "GTA" Online Heist challenge modes that would allow "Grand Theft Auto V" gamers to grab lots of loot from a variety of jobs and challenges, as well as from cheats.
"GTA 5" PC edition would also include the latest online heist challenge modes, not to mention the rich graphic quality that the game developers had been teasing the gamers since the game's launch date had been moved several times.
