NBC's hit procedural fantasy show, Grimm, now on its season 4, has been hashing out some real drama in their latest episodes with a lovely veterinarian turning into a monster and that the love of her life might be forced to get rid of her before she does something neither of them can ever come back from.
In Grimm's episode 18 for season 4 entitled, "Mishipeshu", a Native American myth takes on a life of its own and Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) look into a homicide that would lead them down a dark and dangerous path of a local Native American power quest.
While that brings its own set of everyday (or every episode) struggles Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) behavior takes a turn for the worse, making her do things she would regret in the near future. Juliette, who was once a regular veterinarian, turned into a hexenbiest, which she tried to accept but found that she could not. This makes her want to seek vengeance against Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee), an ex-hexenbiest.
With Juliette slowly losing her grip on her humanity and Nick's duty to fight against beings like her, how can this thing even end without anyone getting hurt? Without fans getting hurt?
As if to put salt in the wound, death is coming to take a character from the show. While it would seem obvious that Juliette would have to die in some noble sacrifice or Nick would have to kill her to save her from a life as a monster, there has been no confirmation as to who was going to die.
Actress Bitsie Tulloch has said in an interview that the season finale would change the direction of the show entirely. It is well within the writers' capabilities to make Juliette the main antagonist in the next season and with Tulloch saying that she was told Juliette was going to go "pretty dark", this is turning into a very real possibility.
The new episode of Grimm season 4 is showing on April 17.
