ABC's acclaimed drama series, Revenge, has fans' hearts racing as the season 4 finale draws nearer and nearer. Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke has a lot of trouble coming her way with a man she made a deal with coming back to collect and a former love-interest acting against her. On top of that, fans have to worry about whether or not Revenge will be coming back for another season or if this is the last one they will ever see.
Emily, played by Emily Van Camp, is seeing an old friend in season 4's new episode of Revenge. Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) is back and he has a score to settle with Emily. Now that she is known as Amanda Clarke, Mason would want the book deal he was promised so long ago.
Writing about the thrilling story of a young girl seeking to avenge her father would definitely sell and Mason is not going to let the opportunity leave him. In the episode entitled "Aftermath", Emily is going to go through the broken pieces of her past and the people closest to her start to worry that she might be going too far.
Far enough to get herself sent to jail? Possibly. Ben Hunter (Brian Hallisay) does not like that Emily has revealed herself as Amanda and this puts a huge strain in their relationship to the point that he might want to put her in jail and keep her there. Following the events of "Aftermath", Emily might land herself in police custody and Ben would have no problem keeping her there.
The end of "Emily versus Victoria" is on the horizon in the show's finale and this could spell the end of the show itself. The fact that the show has not been renewed for another season could be proof of that.
Gabriel Mann (Nolan Ross) has told fans that if they want another season, they have to watch the show live to help the ratings but judging by the ratings of the last episode "Exposure", this could be all for naught. It is still early to know if there will be another season but an announcement is sure to come soon.
Revenge season 4 will air latest "Burn" episode on April 19.
