Bloodborne's latest promo video called Honest Trailer hits Youtube with a gorier and bloodier combat, which was described to resemble Dark Souls' remarkable warfare.
As posted in Youtube channel Smosh Games, Honest Trailer is released to detail more of the battle actions from the role-playing videogame exclusively to PlayStation 4. "Suffer through another action RPG that's just as brutal as Dark Souls, because it basically is Dark Souls," the video narrator says. "But it isn't called Dark Souls to trick people who hate Dark Souls into trying out Dark Souls."
The Honest Trailer also sheds light on the lengthy load times. Bloodborne publisher Sony already irons kinks out through a patch which is scheduled to come out before April ends.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio's Masaaki Yamagiwa stated through the PlayStation Blog that Bloodborne Patch 1.03 will diminish certain load times aide from performance enhancements. The patch however does not guarantee general improvements on overall performance of the game.
Bloodborne's loading screens last long as normally experienced by most players. This is due to continuous hours of play. With the patch update, developer From Software warns that online play will have to be taken offline for a short period of time.
Meanwhile, Bloodborne recently recorded over 1 million copies sold worldwide as of April 5, 2015 since its February release. The record-breaking sales include both disc and digital units. Bloodborne also threw Battlefield Hardline and Dying Light from the top in PlayStation 4 bestsellers chart. Previously, Xbox executive Phil Spencer gave the team behind the new IP a pat on the back for the impressive sales performance.
Bloodborne reviews already acclaimed the game for its fast-paced and offensive combat. As a development of Dar Souls series, Bloodborne brings in new enemies and weapons, extraordinary character ability like the sweeping dashes, improved health regain system and more.
