Huawei has official announced their latest smartphone Ascend P8 in London. With wider screen, a reliable processor, and powerful camera, the Ascend P8 is definitely one of the best choices of smartphones in the market today.
Ascend P8 boasts of its wide 5.2 inch Full HD 1080 display with 424 pixels per inch screen offering. The colors are more vivid with noticeably sharper contrast so that everything's looking crisp and crystal clear even in sunlight, reported Android Authority.
The phone houses a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, both with HD capture capacity. The Full HD 1080 video also comes with Huawei's 'Beauty Level' feature to ensure that your facial features are highlighted, an easier way to look better.
The camera of Ascend P8 also comes with Optical Image Stabilization for still photos without noise in most conditions, whether it is during the day or in low light. It also possesses a dual Temperature flash which uses bright white and warm color LEDs for photos that accurately capture the scene. However, despite its Full HD 1080 capacity and a really good processor, octa-core Kirin 935 processor, it cannot record a 4k Ultra HD video.
The Ascend P8 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Cortex-A53 Hisilicon Kirin 935 SoC clocked at 2GHz coupled with 3GB RAM, wrote Gadgets NDTV. The chipset delivers a decent power and speed. The smartphone is declared to be able to sustain 2.3 days of regular use with its 2680mAh battery and 1.5 days if used heavily.
The Ascend P8 also accommodates a microSD expansion for larger storage, with an expansion capacity of 128GB. The device also allows you to either use two nano SIMs with 4G support or a single nano SIM and a microSD card.
The Huawei P8 comes in two offerings: The standard version, which offers 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM, is expected to cost €499. Its color availability will be grey and mystique champagne. On the other hand, the Premium version will be a €100 more with 64GB internal storage and 3GB RAM. The colors to choose from are carbon black and prestige gold.
