Aquaman Solo Movie to have a crossover with Wonder Woman Film? Gadot and Momoa reprises their roles

By

Marvel has had major success with their shared universe which is now about to enter the third phase. Warner Bros and DCare looking to achieve the same thing with their superhero movies. The shared universe for the studio started with the release of Dracula Untold last year. Another movie sharing the same Universal Monsters Universe is the upcoming Batman v Superman film. Aside for these two films, an Aquaman and a Wonder Woman movies are also somewhere in the pipeline.

Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot has been cast to play the role of Wonder Woman in the Batman v Superman movie and is looking to reprise the role in the solo movie. Although the production of the Wonder Woman movie has been hit with some problems like director Michelle MacLaren leaving due to creative differences, the project is already confirmed. Rumors are spreading that Wonder Woman will have a "dive suit" costume for the upcoming Batman v Superman film which can be seen as a connection to Aquaman.

Aquaman

Also making an appearance in the Batman v Superman movie is Game of Throne's Jason Momoa portraying Aquaman. The actor is also slated to appear in the solo movie featuring the fictional character. The Aquaman movie is scheduled for release sometime in 2018. No word has surfaced yet about the plot of the movie or possible appearances by other DC superheroes on this movie to date.

With the shared universe that Warner Bros is creating, it is easy to see how one superhero would make an appearance in a movie starring another superhero. After all, it worked for the Marvel characters like Black Widow. The fictional spy has appeared in several movies and it is only recently that a movie dedicated to her is being discussed. The connections between DC heroes and their films would be something that fans should definitely watch out for.
