Various leaks recently revealed certification details of Samsung devices. One leak revealed the specs of the rumored Galaxy Tab 5, which has an 8.0-inch TFT display. The other leak showed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi versions of the Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7. It also has a Super AMOLED screen .
A leaked image was recently spotted in the TENAA certification website, showing Samsung's Galaxy Tab 5. Samsung did not release any official statement about it, but the image showed the device to be thinner in design, and sporting a protruding rear camera, which was similar to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
The TENAA website reportedly revealed a Galaxy Tab 5 with a 8.0-inch TFT display, 1024 x 768 screen resolution, quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage capacity, 5 MP main camera, 2 MP front camera, Android 5.0.2 OS, and latest TouchWiz.
It also said that the tablet would also be available in other versions: 32 GB and 64 GB storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 128 GB microSD. The device's weigh is 338 grams and is 7.4mm thick.
It was also rumored that the Galaxy Tab 5 will bring a stylus, just like what the Note series have. If the rumors are true, the S Pen will be in a slot near the upper-right corner of the Galaxy Tab 5. Though its price or release date was not yet revealed, it was expected that the device will be officially introduced very soon as it has already gone for certification.
Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 (SM-T815, SM-T817) has reportedly received both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification. The certification showed that the 9.7-inch tablet will support Bluetooth 4.1 as well as other variants of the device. Other than the SM-TB15, there will also be SM-T815C, SM-T817A, and SM-T817V. It was perceived that the other variants could be released in other regions, and for a Wi-Fi only version.
There was also an 8-inch smaller version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2, and it will go with variants such as SM-T715, SM-T715C, SM-T717A, and SM-717V. It also has a Super AMOLED screen.
According to the leaked details, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 (9.7-inch version) and Galaxy Tab S 2 8.0 (8.0-inch version) are going to be the slimmest tablets available. The two devices are just 5.4mm thick, and will come out with Super AMOLED screens, 2048 x 1536 resolutions, Exynos 5433 CPU's, 3 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2.1 MP front camera, 3,850 mAh battery life, and an Android 5.0.2 OS.
