Will iPad air 3 have enough features to make it stand out as the best and slimmest in its class?
Apple iPad Air first burst into the scene back in October 2013. This is the reborn series of the original iPad and this series is lighter, faster and slimmer. Critics called it revolutionary because of its design and performance and well-deserved if I may add.
Now for the third installment, Apple is about to release the much awaited iPad Air 3. Apple normally has a release date of October for the iPad Air series. The first happening in 2013 and last year so it's fair to say that they will be releasing this around the same time this year. Based on market trends, Apple should be releasing it a little earlier than October.This is mainly done due to competition and the new advancements in technology. This is their way of keeping up with the joneses so to speak.
The present iPad Air 2 features a 64 bit architecture to go along with a 2GB RAM. Its features also include an A8X chip with a tri-core processor. It basically assures you of a smooth performance along with a promise to handle any application available in the market. Moreover, it can handle any application that will enter the market in the next 2 to 3 years.
The upcoming generation Apple A9X chip used in the iPad Air 3 will be even much faster and guarantees premium performance because of hardware optimization.This will also be the thinnest tablet available in the market when it comes out. Apple is hush hush about their new product and understandably so, but based on the rumors floating around the web, the new iPad Air 3 will have the following features:
- Apple A9X 64-bit architecture chip
- X GHz processor with 3GB RAM
- 10.1 inchesTrue 4k resolution display
- 64 GB/128 GB in-built memory
- 8 MP front (the wide angle selfie sensor) and 10 MP rear facing camera
- Touch ID improved and a faster sensor
- 5mm thickness
These will be the new features of the iPad Air 3, whether that is enough to impress the large number of Apple fans around the world remains to be seen. Apple fans have been spoiled and are always looking for something revolutionary. They have become very hard to satisfy.
As for the price, nobody knows. All we can do is base it on the iPad Air 2 which ranged from 409 to 809 euros. It's safe to say the price range will be around 450 to 850 euros. Right now, there isn't much to do but wait along with the rest of the world for iPad Air 3 while October can't get here soon enough.
