Kingdom Hearts III is one of the most highly anticipated games that fans are hopeful to come out this year. The Disney/Square Enix crossover will hopefully bring new Disney films like Star Wars into the mix. Tetsuya Nomura reveals that they are currently planning a smartphone appllication for the upcoming title and a big announcement is planned for D23 Expo Japan this November.

In an interview with Japan's most widely read and respected videogame news magazine Famitsu via Gematsu, Kingdom Hearts gameplay writer and creator Tetsuya Nomura reveals several details on what is yet to come for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III.

After the game's first reveal, Nomura admitted that perhaps the game was a little underdeveloped to have such a big announcement. Now it seems like the game is well under way with new developments and will hopefully be available in the market soon.

According to Tetsuya Nomura, Disney's D23 Expo Japan in November 6 through 8 at Tokyo Disney Resort will have some interesting things planned, especially for the Kingdom Hearts fans. Tetsuya Nomura states that there will be Kingdom Hearts III news, as well as various things connected to the videogame.

The ongoing work and development for Kingdom Hearts III have also been going well, according to Nomura. It is also confirmed that the game will have a smartphone specific application for ease of access to players. An interactive cross gameplay with their console counterpart may be featured but this is yet to be confirmed by Square Enix.

Kingdom Hearts III has been available for pre order since 2013 after its first teaser appearance at the Sony E3 event of 2013. It has also been announced that the game will be released on Xbox One and PS4 gaming consoles, a first for the action-adventure role playing game.
