There are only a few more weeks to go until the finale of 'Revenge' season 4, so fans can definitely expect that the conflict between Emily VanCamp's Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke and Madeleine Stowe's Victoria Grayson will soar to heights like they have never seen before. According to a report published by the International Business Times, this may especially be true with the upcoming episode "Aftermath."
Last week's episode "Burn" ended with a shocking plot twist - Victoria Grayson staged her own demise by burning down Grayson Manor. It was obviously a ploy to frame Emily for the former's "supposed" murder, but the question on everybody's minds now is: Did Victoria really die in the explosion?
An earlier spoiler for the 21st episode published by TVLine stated:
"Aftermath, deals with the fallout from a devastating fire at a yet-unknown Hampton residence. What I do know, however, is that both Emily and David will try to enter the home looking for answers - and they'll both be turned away by the authorities."
The official spoilers for the next episode of 'Revenge' Season 4 has been released, and it looks like Emily's quest to regain the things she lost will have some serious consequences. According to the sypnosis, "Emily will sift through the wreckage of her life, while her closest friends will worry that she has finally gone too far."
Another interesting development in the upcoming episodes was shown on the promo images that were released a few days ago. The images feature a stunned Jack Porter as he reads something in the newspaper that he is holding. The description of the photo does not indicate what scene it was taken from, but several speculations have been made by the show's fans that this may have something to do with the explosion at one of the Hampton residences.
There are indeed a lot of things to anticipate as 'Revenge' Season 4 comes closer to its season finale.
