New screenshot unveiled for 'The Witcher 3' as pre-load becomes available for Xbox One

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is now inching towards availability, and a sure sign of this is the game now being available for pre-load on the Xbox One.

The game is currently available for pre-load only for those who have also pre-ordered the game. As of now, it appears as though the Xbox One version is the only one that has gone live so far, according to Product-Reviews.

With the game going live for the Xbox One though, it figures to be only a matter of time before the game's developer, CD Projekt Red, also makes it available for both the Playstation 4 and for the PC via Steam. Along with the news of the game now being made available for pre-loading, yet another screenshot has been released to show off more the in-game action.

The new screenshot depicts the game's protagonist, Geralt, grimacing as he points his sword towards an unseen enemy, according to DSO Gaming. The picture also displays the side effects of drinking potions during the game.

As always, the screenshot showcases the gorgeous graphics of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." "The Witcher 3: WIld Hunt" is also getting some star power via an import from the hit series "Game of Thrones," according to Polygon. Charles Dance, who plays Tywin Lannister on the show, is also lending his voice to Emperor Emhyr var Emreis.

The actor is giving life to a character with a pivotal role in the game, as Emperor Emhyr is the man who rules over Nilfgaard. Nilfgaard is the very same empire that took control of the Northern Kingdoms in the franchise's previous installment. The empire figures to once again play a significant role in the upcoming game.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has just recently gone gold. "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be officially released on May 19 for the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
